Services
Design and implementation of ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, files, and event streams. Orchestration with retry semantics, backfill support, and dependency management that holds up when an upstream source changes without warning.
Warehouse schemas built to be queried by humans, not just machines. Transformation layers with tested, documented, version-controlled logic — plus the cost work that keeps a growing warehouse from quietly becoming the largest line item in the budget.
Automated tests on the data itself, not only the code that moves it. Freshness and volume monitoring, column-level lineage, and alerting that reaches a human before it reaches a stakeholder asking why the numbers changed.
Web applications built end to end — typed, tested, accessible, and deployed on infrastructure that scales down to zero when nobody is using it. Equally at home building a customer-facing product or the internal tool that three people depend on daily.
The layer most data projects never reach: purpose-built interfaces that let a team actually use what the pipeline produced. Operational dashboards, admin panels, review queues, and reporting surfaces designed around a real workflow.
Reproducible infrastructure defined in code, with real separation between environments and deployment pipelines that make shipping routine rather than an event.
Approach
I build the systems that move data and the interfaces people use to act on it. Most consultants stop at the warehouse — the pipeline lands the data, a dashboard gets bolted on, and the last mile between a clean table and a decision never gets built. I own that whole path: ingestion, modeling, orchestration, and the application layer on top.
That end-to-end scope means fewer handoffs, one person accountable for whether the thing actually works, and interfaces designed by someone who knows what the underlying data can and cannot support. I work with small teams standing up their first real data stack and with larger organizations modernizing infrastructure that has outgrown its original design.
